ORIENT-EXPRESS RELOADED: Literary raising to Turkey

On this evening LIA and the publishing house binooki presents works

of Turkish authors. Monika Demirel reads Alper Canigüzs’ „Söhne und

siechende Seelen", the musician Gemma Pallarés and the actor Recai

Hallaç compact „Geschichtenerzähler der Eisenbahn – ein Traum" to

a scenic literary adventure.

 

On the program is also Emanuel Mathias video installation ‘Nebahats

Schwestern’ (2011). In this video installation he examines how the

Turkish women taxi drivers conceptualize themselves orienting on the

famous movie ‘Şoför Nebahat’ from the 60th.

 

After the reading you are welcome to visit the Studio of Turkish LIA Awardee - Sifa Girinci.
