15. 09. / 5 pm – Reception of the Etching Studio Maria und Vlado Ondrej
As part of the 50th anniversary of twin cities Leipzig - Bologna, two illustrators, Sarah Mazzetti and Giulia
Sagramola, were selected for an artist exchange. During their two month stay at the Spinnerei they have realized a project for the city of Leipzig, which they will present on Saturday at 3pm. The exhibition will be opened by Professor Venturelli (Director of the Italian Cultural Institute of the Italian Embassy in Berlin). Visitors of the exhibition will have the opportunity to take a piece of art from the Italian artists home. Italian food and drinks will be served.
At 5 pm we invite you to the reception of the Etching Studio of Vlado and Maria Ondrej. The renowned Etching Studio has invited the LIA resident, Samuel Vanderveken from Belgium, as this year's guest artist. The work from this collaboration will be presented.
