On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Franco-German Treaty of Friendship, Leipzig International Art Programme, the residency program of the Franco-German Network Fugitif and the  art space Westpol a.i.r present a mutual exhibition “Das Paradies ist nebenan”. The selected German and French artists worked for three months on the project in pairs. In the exhibition they present either already existing or newly created works in reference to each other. The students of the high school Wiprecht Groitzsch have accompanied the artists during the process and will show their documentary, which is a reflection on the experience gained during the art mediation.
