W\u00e4hrend ihres Master- und Bachelorstudiums konzentrierte sich Gabel auf die Malerei in ihrem erweiterten Feld.<br>Gabels Arbeiten wurden unter anderem in der Kunsthal Charlottenborg und dem Thorvaldsens Museum in Kopenhagen, der Saatchi Gallery in London und der Galerie Leger in Malm\u00f6 ausgestellt. Im Jahr 2020 erhielt sie den Kunstpreis der d\u00e4nischen Botschaft in Gro\u00dfbritannien. Im Jahr 2021 erhielt sie ein Stipendium f\u00fcr das D\u00e4nische Institut in Rom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ihre Arbeiten wurden vom Malm\u00f6 Konst Museum, dem Stockholm Lens L\u00e4nsting erworben und befinden sich in mehreren Privatsammlungen.<br>Gabel nutzt die Teile des Gem\u00e4ldes, die wir normalerweise als selbstverst\u00e4ndlich ansehen, und stellt sie in Frage, insbesondere den Rahmen und die Leinwand.<br>Das Material der Leinwand wird durch Textilien ersetzt, die auf ihren urspr\u00fcnglichen Verwendungszweck hinweisen. Durch das N\u00e4hen wird die Zeit, die f\u00fcr die Arbeit aufgewendet wurde, physisch manifestiert und steht im Gegensatz zu der schnellen, zeichnerischen Figuration.<br>Die Keilrahmen sind so gebaut, dass sie die einzelnen Figurationen tragen.
