Shangkai Yu lebt und arbeitet in New York und hat an der New York Academy of Art studiert. Er \u00fcber seine Arbeit: “Die Wahrnehmungs- und viszeralen Eigenschaften der verschiedenen Methoden des Farbenhandlings besitzen symbolische Eigenbedeutungen, die sich h\u00e4ufig verst\u00e4rken, wenn diese verschiedenen Techniken auf derselben Leinwand einander gegen\u00fcbergestellt werden. Meine Arbeit besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit der\u00a0 Suche nach den richtigen Kombinationen von Techniken zur Erfassung von Ideen, die aus einer Mischung eines imagin\u00e4ren Farbraums, den fl\u00fcchtigen Sinneserfahrungen im Leben und der kritischen konzeptuellen Reaktion auf die Art und Weise entstehen, wie diese Erfahrungen in der gesamten Kunstgeschichte visuell dargestellt wurden. ”<\/p>\n
