Antonia Wright benutzt ihren eigenen K\u00f6rper als Projektionsfl\u00e4che, um von dort aus Themen, die das menschliche Befinden betreffen, zu hinterfragen. Als Konzept- und Performancek\u00fcnstlerin schafft sie starke visuelle Kontexte, um die menschliche Wahrnehmung zu beeinflussen. In den Videos Are you OK? (Geht es dir gut?) weint die K\u00fcnstlerin an verschiedenen Stra\u00dfenecken in Miami, New York, Paris sowie Havana und zeichnet die Reaktionen der Passanten auf. Der Betachter der Aufzeichnungen folgt dem Geschehen geduldig, hoffend auf eine Interaktion als Aufl\u00f6sung. Die K\u00fcnstlerin macht dabei soziale Strukturen sichtbar. In ihrer Aufzeichnung Be (Sei) bedeckt sich Wright mit 15.000 Honigbienen w\u00e4hrend sie eine Folge Tai Chi absolviert. Die Performance verweist auf die F\u00e4higkeit, friedlich in einer Situation gro\u00dfer Gefahr verharren zu k\u00f6nnen. Ihr Werk zeigt die Verhandelbarkeit von Widerspr\u00fcchen auf – Gefahr und Verletzlichkeit, Ruhe und Gewalt sowie letztendlich Sch\u00f6nheit und Zerst\u00f6rung.<\/p>\n
