www.juliannawells.com<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

In my work, I monumentalize the quiet moments in life and create an allegory for the human experience through my paintings and drawings. This inspiration comes from observing nature, and looking for the metaphorical narratives that unravel in the environment that parallel daily life. My influences range from the Northern Baroque and American Realists to my memory of the forested landscapes of Georgia where I grew up. In painting what I know and see, I hope to capture what it means to be alive.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
