Jordan Grants Bilder entstehen durch einen heuristischen Prozess, der auf zweifelhafte Experimente und Provisorien ausgerichtet ist. Abstrakte Kompositionen werden durch Gesten gebildet, die aktuell, authentisch als auch indexikalisch wirken und Zeichen aus dem sogenannten westlichen Kanon aufzeigen. Diese Referenzen reichen von der Malerei des fr\u00fchen 20. Jahrhunderts bis hin zu Comics und Graffiti und erzeugen eine prek\u00e4re Harmonie, die durch die Verwendung aktiver und sich ver\u00e4ndernder Formen gef\u00f6rdert wird.<\/p>\n

Diese Arch\u00e4ologien des Bildhaften machen die zeitliche Natur unserer Beziehung zur visuellen Kultur explizit, wodurch eine Jetztzeitigkeit hervorgehoben wird, in der R\u00e4ume gegens\u00e4tzlicher visueller Informationen und komplexer, vernetzter semiotischer Beziehungen die Norm sind.<\/p>\n
