Riham Noor Al-Zadjali lebt und arbeitet in Muskat, Oman. Mit ihren Kunstwerken versucht Riham eine neutrale Ebene zu schaffen, sei es um aktuelle Probleme der Welt oder aktuelle, kollektive Auseinandersetzungen zu thematisieren<\/span><\/span> oder sich mit einer bestimmten Art von Mentalit\u00e4t, die f\u00fcr eine bestimmte Kultur spezifisch ist, zu besch\u00e4ftigen.<\/span> Sie experimentiert dabei mit verschiedenen Medien wie Fotografie, digitale Medien oder Malerei.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Riham war Mitbegr\u00fcnderin der Initiative Art With Refugees<\/a>, einer Wanderausstellung mit Kunstwerken von Gefl\u00fcchteten und K\u00fcnstlern aus aller Welt, die sich f\u00fcr bessere Lebensbedingungen von Fl\u00fcchtlingen, insbesondere in Griechenland, einsetzt.<\/span> DieWanderausstellung war bereits zu sehen in: Pir\u00e4us, Griechenland, <\/span>Spanien, The<\/span> Grand Hyatt Hotel Muscat, Oman, <\/span>Das Kindermuseum von Wilmington, North Carolina, The<\/span> Human (Art) istic Festival in Br\u00fcssel, Belgien und a<\/span>uf dem Funun-Festival in Bremen im Rahmen des Vortrags \u00fcber das Fl\u00fcchtlingsdorf f\u00fcr Freiheit, auch bekannt als Solidarity Fields.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u2022Volunteered in the refugee squats of Athens for 2 months as an art teacher for kids and translator among other things (2016)<\/p>\n

\u2022Volunteered as an art assistant to the blind and disabled at the empowering disability identity three day workshop (2017)<\/p>\n

\u2022Volunteered for an art workshop at Muscat College under The Omani Academy for special skills, teaching people with Down syndrome and people of all kinds of intellectual disabilities, training them to have professional skills and spread awareness on their need for social integration (2019)<\/p>\n

\u2022Volunteered to teach painting at another art workshop for the Omani Academy for special skills, again to empower people with all kinds of mental disabilities by training them to have professional skills and spread awareness on their need for social integration (2019)<\/p>\n

\u2022Organized the “Oman 1971” exhibition photographer Bruno Barbey for the Sultanate’s 40th renaissance anniversary, in collaboration with The Empty Quarter gallery in Dubai. (2011)<\/p>\n

\u2022Collaborated with Tamrah fine dates and chocolatier to design limited edition Ramadan boxes as well as other boxes (2013)<\/p>\n

\u2022Artworks that promote environmental awareness, recycling, community activism, and tolerance for a private school that promotes all the above (2014)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
