Leipzig International Programme Leipzig warmly invites you to the LIA Open Studios on November 27th, 2019 from 4pm to 9pm. Following artists will show what they have been doing in their studios the last weeks: Riham Noor and Rawan AlMahrouqi (Oman), both supported by STAL Galley and the Deutsch-Omanische Gessellschaft. Martina Valcharova (Brno\/Czech Republic), first stipend of the Brno University of Technology and supported by the City of Leipzig \/ Department International Relations. Joyce ter Weele (Netherlands), who recently started her residency and Shangkai Kevin Yu (Taiwan\/USA), who is spending a six-months residency at LIA.<\/p>\n

Two guest artist from the last LIA round, Martin Str\u00e5hle (Sweden\/Norway) and Anna Taina-Nielsen (Denmark), both stipends of the Nordic-Leipzig artist exchange by the Goethe-Institut, will participate in the open studios presentations, as they are extending their stay in Leipzig in November. As a third guest, Wim Warrink (The Netherlands) will join his partner Joyce ter Weele to present their common art project. We will provide some snacks and drinks and hope to see you!<\/p>\n
