Leipzig war ein wichtiges Zentrum f\u00fcr die Entstehung neuer Formen von politischen
Vereinigungen und Organisationen im 19. Jahrhundert. Recht bekannt ist die Tatsache, dass
die erste deutschlandweite Frauenvereinigung \u2013 der Allgemeine Deutsche Frauenverein \u2013 im
Jahre 1865 durch Louise Otto-Peters, Auguste Schmidt und Henriette Goldschmidt in Leipzig
gegr\u00fcndet wurde; jedoch gibt es nur wenige Informationen \u00fcber die Zeit davor bis zur
bedeutenden Gr\u00fcndung des Vereins. “Eine neue Bewegung: re*mapping Leipzig” ist ein
Projekt, das sich im digitalen Raum mit der Geschichte, Gegenwart und (Un-)Sichtbarkeit der
Frauen*bewegungen sowie FLINTA*Geschichten (\u201eFrauen, Lesben, inter-, nicht-bin\u00e4re,
trans- und agender\u201c Personen) in Leipzig besch\u00e4ftigt. Mit partizipativen k\u00fcnstlerischen und
ortsspezifischen Interventionen und Performances sowie \u201eAugmented Reality\u201c-Schnittstellen
im urbanen Raum und einer App mit Stadtplan- und Stadtrundgangsfunktion sollen
gesellschaftliche Strukturen und vergessene Geschichte sichtbar gemacht werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Das Projekt wurde vom Referat Internationale Zusammenarbeit der Stadt Leipzig in
Zusammenarbeit mit dem Deutschen Kulturzentrum Goethe-Institut in der Ukraine (Kiew)
initiiert. Die Partner in Leipzig sind LIA \u2013 Leipzig International Art Programme und \u0411\u00fck\u00fc \u2013
dem B\u00fcro f\u00fcr kulturelle \u00dcbersetzungen, in Kiew – Open Place und dem Method Fund (Kiew).
Das Residenzprogramm ist ein Teil der Diskussionsplattform \u201cGeschwistertr\u00e4ume\u201d, die im
Rahmen des Programms \u00abDie Kultur f\u00fcr den Wandel\u201d durch die Ukrainische Kulturstiftung
