Please feel cordially invited to “Emo-Scapes: The Space in Between” taking place during the Autumn Gallery Tour at the Spinnerei Leipzig. Our current artists in residency are Katherine Bull<\/a> (Cape Town), Freshwoyen Endrias Feyissa<\/a> (Addis Abeba) fostered by the city of Leipzig, Motlhoki Nono<\/a> (Johannesburg) all three supported by the German Foreign Ministry and the Centre for the Less Good Idea, as well as Duy Nguyen <\/a>(Oslo) and Madelin Wilian<\/a> (Copenhagen) fostered by the Goethe-Institut. We thank all partners for their kind support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition, we are glad to announce a new partnership Sydney University has started with LIA and the support of Madeleine Kelly<\/a> who will be part of the exhibition and be present from Australia, as well as mentors Silke Koch<\/a> (Leipzig\/ Berlin) and Laura Zimmermann (Berlin).


We would also like to thank mentors Maria Schumacher<\/a>, Ramona Schacht<\/a> and Silke Koch from Leipzig assisting our African guests as well as Maria and Vlado Ondrej providing learning and personal exchange in their international etching workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
