was born in 1961 in Waimate, South Island , New Zealand Anita completed her fine arts degree in 2000 and her Master of fine arts in 2003 at the Dunedin School of Visual Art at the Otago Polytechnic in Dunedin NZ. Here she  has been  a lecturer in Life drawing 2004. Anita regulary exhibits nation wide in New Zealand in solo and group shows.
