Cam Gill

Cam Gill is an emerging artist from Melbourne, Australia. Gill's recent work embraces the unreal and imagined. His work depicts figures floating through strange landscapes, altered realities, scenes familiar and yet strange. Through the act of collaging his photographs into new arrangements and the physical act of creating paintings and prints from these collages, the original source material is somewhat abandoned and the image takes on a new life of its own, celebrating the happy mistake that leads paintings toward abstraction.  Education
