Painting is a way for me to explore visual concepts that interest me.  The illusion of depth on a two dimensional surface is the most fascinating aspect of art to me, so I am naturally drawn to create representational paintings.  I want every inch of my canvases to exude as much depth and three dimensionality as possibly, from the compositional layout, to the drawing and rendering of every single form.  There is an intrinsic fascination I have with artwork thatfools and confounds me, and I want to understand how far I can push that sensation with a painting.
