Michaela Kessler, born in 1994 in Hohenems, currently lives and works in Linz and Dornbirn. From 2017 to 2023, she studied Fine Arts, and from 2018 to 2022, Fashion and Technology at the University of Arts Linz. Her drawings have received several awards and scholarships, including the Upper Austria Talent Promotion Award 2025, the START Scholarship for Visual Arts (BMWKMS) 2025, the Ö1 Talent Scholarship 2024, the Vorarlberg State Culture Award 2024, and the Klemens Brosch Prize 2023. Her works have been presented in numerous exhibitions in Austria and abroad, including at DOCK20 in Lustenau (2026), Kubin-Haus in Zwickledt (2026), Galerie 422 in Gmunden (2025), the Municipal Gallery Überlingen (2025), museumkrems (2024), Künstlerhaus Vienna (2024), and Parallel Vienna (2023).
