born in Lyon, France, Anne Bertoin went off to Paris at an early age to study painting in Leonardo Cremonini’ studio at the National Superior School of Fine-Arts. There, she learned how to use chance in the process of painting to reveal the subconscious. At the age of 27, she moved to Montreal, Canada and graduated from Concordia University, She now lives in Lyon and in Montreal. She has shown her work in the Laurentides Contemporary Museum of Arts, in numerous galleries in Toronto and in the province of Quebec, as well in Paris and in Lyon, France .The Loto-Quebec and the Université de Montreal collections have acquired pieces of her works as well as the corporate Remy Thannberger & Cie Collection.
