Mateja Fi is a singer and pedagogue from Slovenia. Self-employed by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia. Graduated in ethnology and cultural anthropology in Ljubljana.
For many years, she has been reviving and researching the material of folk songs. Working with voice, breath and body, moving in the field of improvisation and situational music.
She performs and leads voice workshops, performances, concerts, storytelling and workshops on music creation, improvisation, and developing singing ear for people who think they can’t sing.
